Sweetwood is located directly on U.S. Route 7, and easily accessible by major highways. It is about 16 miles north of Pittsfield and 3.1 miles south of Williamstown center and the Williams College campus. From Albany, NY, head east on U.S. Route 2 (then south on Route 7). From the Boston area, take either the Massachusetts Turnpike or Route 2 west. Route 7 is the preferred route from most points in Connecticut or Vermont. From New York City, take the Taconic Parkway north to the Massachusetts Turnpike.
